Our Story

How We Met

Its technology that brought you to our site and it was technology that brought David and I together. Although we connected on Match.com in July 2008, we both feel that we had many "chance" meetings. We could have met when I attended Stockton 1995-1999 and David took several trips down to visit his cousin Christine (AKA 'Squeaks'). Ironically, Christine and I were in the same sorority together. Or that we both purchased our first homes less than a mile away from each other, only separated by the Shark River. Or that David's sister, Debbie, lived in the apartment complex right across the street from my condo. We are also convinced we had to have been in the "Meet" Area of Foodtown at some point. Even though it took years and technology to bring us together, we're glad it did.

David and I had our first date in August. It was a multi-location first date. We met up at Rod's in Sea Girt on Aug 16th. We immediately connected with good conversation at the east corner part of the bar. I brag that I was a cheap date, splitting chicken fingers as our meal. We even called David's cousin, Christine, from Rod's to let her know we met. We didn't want the night to end, so we headed over to Sunsets for some entertainment closer to home. We will never forget that night because it was the night Michael Phelps won all his gold medals.

We had a second date about a week later at the Columns. I think he picked that place because he knew how much I love lobster. But, little did he know that I couldn't pull out the "eat with my hands" card until well after the 5th or 6th date. After a great dinner, we headed to Edgars for some karaoke. I knew that if he could handle a night of horrendous singing that he was a keeper. He says that he knew we were going to have more dates when I took the microphone away from a guy who didn't know what he was doing. Then we have the mysterious 3rd date. We remember all the dates thereafter but the third is still an "Unsolved Mystery." The rest of our story unfolded from there.

We love to have a lot of fun, whether it's our day trips to New Hope, Atlantic City or our exciting Trader Joe's runs. We enjoy walking the boardwalk and challenging each other in NTN trivia. We are better bowlers on the Wii than at the lanes. We are so excited that we found each other, and so happy we can share our love with all of our friends and family members.
